Manchester Medical Services latest fleet additons

Manchester Medical Services are proud to announce its latest fleet acquisitions. July has seen us take delivery of two new vehicles for our event coverage with very specific, niche areas to be covered, these are:

1. A Quadzilla 325 4X4 quad bike
2. A Honda Pan European ST1100A motorcycle

The quad bike has been put straight into active service on events already attending at a mountain bike trials and also 10k races. This machine will have distinctive livery and be fitted with full emergency lighting, Unlike some of our competitor’s machines our quad bike is fully road legal meaning that it has to meet stringent U.K. M.O.T. and roadworthiness tests as well as being fully insured for all emergency usage including full Ambulance category cover sometimes an area overlooked on many events especially when used in public areas where insurance of  this nature is vital and sometimes compulsory!

The Pan European will not be seeing active service straight away and is designed to publicise this potential new area of our business however depending on event managers (and the general publics) reception of the bike this may be yet another area that Manchester Medical Services will lead the way in. These new vehicles join our existing fleet of rapid response cars (both standard and 4X4) A&E emergency Ambulances and of course our other two wheeled machine, the MMS Cycle Response bike.

Manchester Medical Services at the Circus

In January 2010 Manchester Medical Services were awarded the contract to provide the Medical Provision for a well known international circus. We were requested to provide full medical provision for the setup, the show and also the breakdown of the event.

This event was ' Cirque Du Soleil - Varekai show' which was taking place at the Trafford Centre. We provided medical cover for this event over a 2 month period. This was a great success for Manchester Medical Services, to be awarded contract for a blue chip event.

Manchester Medical Services looking after the students of Manchester

In February 2010 Manchester Medical Services were asked to provide the medical provision for a student pub crawl in Manchester. We were only to pleased to say yes, being experienced in this field of work, this was no challenge for us. We provided 8 hours medical provision looking after 2500 students attending various bars and clubs across the student area and Manchester City Centre. Another great success for Manchester Medical Services.
