Removing Barriers to Your Future
We design and run courses for individuals with barriers to learning, whether that be a learning difficulty such as ADHD, ASD or Dyslexia etc., a mental health condition, or general anxiety surrounding education, training or employment.
We can provide assistance to people who may need extra support to move towards and into work. Our course cover everything needed to build your confidence in search for and applying for work, attending interviews and getting into the workplace.
We can advise you on all stages of work experience and job hunting, from the start of your search up to getting an interview and beyond.
Launch to Employment®
Launch to Employment® is a series of four week courses designed to get you back into the workplace. The courses run online once a week for around 4 hours (including 1-2-1 support time) with options for monthly in-person meet ups.
The courses are FREE to adults 19 and over who live in Somerset and are unemployed (or earn under £26,800 a year). Full details of eligibilty can be found HERE. The courses are run through the Community Learning Partnership and sponsored by Somerset Council.
